The Kirkwood School District laid the foundation for both my education & professional journey, instilling in me a deep sense of community that drives my desire to give back. With a Bachelor's & Master's from Syracuse University, & a Juris Doctorate from the University of Kansas, I bring over 20 years of experience in both public service & the private sector. My career has involved leading complex audits & investigations, overseeing billions of dollars in government spending, & serving as a data & technology attorney—skills I believe will be valuable to the Kirkwood School Board.

 

Above all, I’m a dedicated parent, active community member, & passionate advocate for public service. My husband & I are both proud Kirkwood graduates, having attended Tillman, Nipher, & Kirkwood High School. After living away, we moved back to Kirkwood to raise our children here, proud to be second- generation members of the Kirkwood family.

 

With extensive experience in the district—beginning with my involvement in the Parent Teacher Organization at Kirkwood Early Childhood Center—I have a strong understanding of the challenges & opportunities facing our schools. Our children currently attend North Glendale Elementary, Nipher Middle School, & MICDS, & I’m deeply committed to supporting our schools, teachers, & parents as we work together to ensure educational excellence for every student.
